Professional Organizing Services for Home and Office
Residential Organizing
Clearing clutter: We work in any area of the house including kitchens, bedrooms, garages and basements, starting with the area most important to our clients. After discussing what works, what doesn't work, goals, etc., together the sorting/purging process begins, deciding what to keep, what to discard, what to donate, and what to give away and/or recycle. Sometimes furniture is moved to create zones for a more functional room. If needed, storage supplies and containers are purchased after the sorting/purging process is complete. Pictures are hung if desired.
Closet organization and design: Closets can be made to be functional, beautiful, and easy to find what you are looking for. If a closet system is desired, recommendations are made.
Home offices: Together we go through paper clutter and create a filing system that works best for you. If desired, teaching on how to stay up-to-date on filing papers, organizing your computer files, paying bills on time, keeping appointments, etc. will take place.
Packing and unpacking services: If you are moving and need assistance packing your things securely and in a way that you will be able to find them once you've moved in, we will be happy to assist. We also include unpacking services and arrange your things in your new home in a beautiful, organized fashion.
Organizing for the physically challenged: After talking to our clients to find out exactly what will help them gain better access to their things, we work together to find ways to restore function and ease some of the frustration they experience.
Home Staging: Research has shown that 40% of homes that are staged sell faster than homes that are not. In this competitive market, making the best first impression is paramount when you are selling your home. If your home has been on the market for a long time, or if you just want to have a better chance at making a quick sale, home staging may be the best option for you. Buyers will remember your home because it will stand out above the others. You will increase the chances of getting a better price AND raise the likeihood of selling your home more quickly. Using tried and true principles of design, we arrange furniture in each room according to scale, making it beautiful, functional, and appealing to those who enter.
Business Organizing
Paper Clutter / Filing Systems: We review current systems and, working directly with our clients, sort through paper clutter to determine what gets shredded, what needs to be kept and what needs to be dealt with. Once the paper is categorized, it is filed away and organized in a system designed for the individual to easily put their fingers on the information they are looking for.
Teaching: Some clients prefer only to get organized, and some clients like to be taught. If desired, teaching will happen as the organizing process goes along on topics such as keeping filing up-to-date, keeping calendars, paying bills on time, what to toss and what to keep, etc.
Computer File Organization: For those with many computer files, we can rename and rearrange the files into logical folders so it won't take ten minutes to find your documents. There is an easier way.
